Focusing

Focus Setup

1. Select Basic Setup.

2. Select Focus.

3. Enable Show Pixel Counter.

4. Pixel Counter.

a. Draw pixel counter box around parked license plate.

b. Plate width must be at least 150 pixels at the 640x480 resolution.

Note: You can find the camera’s current set resolution at the bottom of this focus page. Multiply the image’s

width by 0.23 to figure out the necessary plate width. For example: when using the Q1604 at its 1280x960

resolution the plate will need to be 300 pixels.

5. Select Apply.

6. Follow steps 1-6 to focus the camera.
