Autofocusenabled-Automaticfocusingisenabledbydefault.Ifthefocuspositionischangedmanuallyusingthefocusbar,

autofocuswillbedisabledevenifenabledhere.Inthiscase,usethePTZcontrolpaneltoenableautofocus,seePTZControls,onpage

12.Ifrequired,thefocuscontrolcanbedisabledunderPTZ>Advanced>Controls.

Autodefog-Theproductwilldetectfogandautomaticallylteritouttogetaclearimage.Selecttheleveloffogremovalfromthe

drop-downlist.Highimpliesthatmaximumfogremovalisappliedandoffimpliesnofogremoval.Autodefogcanbeactivated

incorrectlyinsceneswithlowcontrast,highlightlevelvariationsorwhenautofocusisslightlyoff.Thiscanaffecttheimagequality

byforexample,increasingimagecontrast.Also,toomuchbrightnesscannegativelyimpacttheimagequalitywhendefogisactive.

Noisereduction-SettoOntoenablenoisereduction.Noisereductionmayincreasetheamountofmotionblur.

Stabilizer-Whenmonitoringenvironmentsthataresubjecttovibrations(e.g.trafccontrol),imagesmayappeartobeunsteady.

Selectthefrequency,HighorLow,thatgivesthebestimprovementinimagequality.Enablingthestabilizerwilllimitthedigital

zoom.Seetheonlinehelp

ImagefreezeonPTZ-SelectAllmovementstofreezetheimagewhilethecameraismovingduringapan,tiltorzoomoperation.

Oncethecamerareachesitsnewposition,theviewfromthatpositionisshown.Presetsfreezestheimageonlywhenthecamera

movesbetweenpresetpositions.

Overlay

Overlaysareusedtoprovideextrainformation,forexampleforforensicvideoanalysisorduringproductinstallationand

conguration.Overlaysaresuperimposedoverthevideostream.

Anoverlaytextcandisplaythecurrentdateandtime,oratextstring.Whenusingatextstring,modierscanbeusedtodisplay

informationsuchasthecurrentbitrateorthecurrentframerate.Forinformationaboutavailablemodiers,seeFileNaming&

Itisalsopossibletodisplaytextwhenanactionruleistriggered,seeUsingOverlayTextinanActionRule.

4.Toincludeatextstring,selectIncludetextandenterthetextintheeld.Modierscanbeused,seeFileNaming&

5.Denetextoverlaycharacteristicsintherelevantelds.

6.ClickSave.
