TheAxisproductprovidestwocongurableinputandoutputportsforconnectionofexternaldevices.Amulti-connectorcable
(availablefromAxis)isrequiredwhenconnectingexternaldevices,seeMulti-ConnectorCable(soldseparately),onpage47.
TheI/OportsareconguredunderSystemOptions>Ports&Devices>I/OPorts.Selecttheportdirection(InputorOutput).The
portscanbegivendescriptivenamesandtheirNormalstatescanbeconguredasOpencircuitorGroundedcircuit.

TheAxisproductprovidesseveralmaintenancefunctions.TheseareavailableunderSystemOptions>Maintenance.
ClickRestarttoperformacorrectrestartiftheAxisproductisnotbehavingasexpected.Thiswillnotaffectanyofthecurrent
settings.
ClickRestoretoresetmostsettingstothefactorydefaultvalues.Thefollowingsettingsarenotaffected:

•thedefaultrouter
•thesubnetmask
•thesystemtime
•theIEEE802.1Xsettings
•uploadedapplicationsarekeptbutmustberestarted
