CapturemodedenesthemaximumresolutionandmaximumframerateavailableintheAxisproduct.Acapturemodewithalarge

maximumresolutionhasareducedmaximumframerateandviceversa.

Thecapturemodesettingalsoaffectsthecamera’sangleofviewastheeffectivesizeoftheimagesensordiffersbetweencapture

modes.

Capturemodeissetthersttimetheproductisaccessed.SelectthedesiredcapturemodeandclickOK.

Thecapturemodesettingreducesimageickerinuorescentlightenvironmentsasimagedataissampledataratethatmatchesthe

localpowerlinefrequency.

Capturemodeissetthersttimetheproductisaccessed.Selectthecapturemodewiththepowerlinefrequency(50Hzor

60Hz)usedatthelocationoftheAxisproductandclickOK.

Whenusing50Hz,themaximumframerateislimitedto25fps.

Powerlinefrequencyisdifferentindifferentgeographicregions.IntheAmericas,60Hzisusuallyused;mostotherpartsof

theworlduse50Hz.Localvariationsmayapply,alwayscheckwiththelocalauthorities.

Changingcapturemodewhentheproducthasbeenconguredisnotrecommendedasmostothersettingswillbeeither

removedorreset.

Tochangecapturemode,followthesesteps:

1.GotoSetup>Video&Audio>CameraSettings.

2.Selectthenewcapturemode.

3.ClickSave.

4.Reviewandrecongureallsettings,forexample:

-Settingsinuploadedapplications

ImageAppearance

IncreasingtheColorlevelincreasesthecolorsaturation.Thevalue100givesmaximumcolorsaturation.Thevalue0givesa

blackandwhiteimage.

TheimageBrightnesscanbeadjustedintherange0–100,whereahighervalueproducesabrighterimage.

IncreasingtheSharpnesscanincreasebandwidthusage.Asharperimagemightincreaseimagenoiseespeciallyinlowlight

conditions.Alowersettingreducesimagenoise,butthewholeimagewillappearlesssharp.

TheContrastchangestherelativedifferencebetweenlightanddark.Itcanbeadjustedusingtheslidebar.
