PrivacyMask
Aprivacymaskisauser-denedareathatpreventusersfromviewingpartsofthemonitoredarea.Privacymasksappearas
blocksofsolidcolororblurredimageelementsandareappliedonthevideostream.Privacymaskscannotbebypassedusingthe
VAPIX®applicationprogramminginterface(API).
ThePrivacyMaskList(Video&Audio>PrivacyMask)showsallthemasksthatarecurrentlyconguredintheAxisproductand
indicatesiftheyareenabled.
Youcanaddanewmask,re-sizethemaskwiththemouse,chooseacolorforthemask,andgivethemaskaname.

Quadstream
AQuadviewdisplaysimagesfromallfourchannelsonasinglescreen;wheretheimagesfromeachcameratakeupaquarterof
thedisplayarea.Itispossibletodenesettingsforthevideostreaminquadview.
StreamProles
Astreamproleisasetofpredenedstreamsettingsincludingresolution,compression,framerateandoverlaysettings.Stream
prolescanbeused:
•Whensettinguprecordingusingactionrules.SeeEventsonpage33.

•IntheLiveViewpage–selectthestreamprolefromtheStreamproledrop-downlist.
