Forquicksetup,useoneofthepredenedstreamproles.Eachpredenedprolehasadescriptivename,indicatingitspurpose.If
required,thepredenedstreamprolescanbemodiedandnewcustomizedstreamprolescanbecreated.
Tocreateanewproleormodifyanexistingprole,gotoSetup>Video&Audio>StreamProles.
ToselectadefaultstreamprolefortheLiveViewpage,gotoSetup>LiveViewCong.
CameraSettings
TheVideo&Audio>CameraSettingspageprovidesaccesstoadvancedimagesettingsfortheAxisproduct.
ImageAppearance
TheimageBrightnesscanbeadjustedintherange0–100,whereahighervalueproducesabrighterimage.
IncreasingtheSharpnesscanincreasebandwidthusage.Asharperimagemightincreaseimagenoiseespeciallyinlowlight
conditions.Alowersettingreducesimagenoise,butthewholeimagewillappearlesssharp.
TheContrastchangestherelativedifferencebetweenlightanddark.Itcanbeadjustedusingtheslidebar.
ExposureSettings
Conguretheexposuresettingstosuittheimagequalityrequirementsinrelationtotemperaturevariationsinthescene.
Note
Avoidapplyingexposurezonestoextremetemperatureareas,suchasthesky.
Exposurezones-Thissettingdetermineswhichpartoftheimageisusedtocalculatetheexposure.Formostsituations,theAuto
settingcanbeused,butforparticularrequirements,checkDenedandthenclickEditandselectoneofthepredenedareas.
Gain-Thissettingcontrolsthemaximumgain.Loweringthegainreducesthecontrastinthethermalimage.
Overlay
Overlaysareusedtoprovideextrainformation,forexampleforforensicvideoanalysisorduringproductinstallationand
conguration.Overlaysaresuperimposedoverthevideostream.
Anoverlaytextcandisplaythecurrentdateandtime,oratextstring.Whenusingatextstring,modierscanbeusedtodisplay
informationsuchasthecurrentbitrateorthecurrentframerate.Forinformationaboutavailablemodiers,seeFileNaming&
Date/TimeFormatsintheonlinehelp.
Itisalsopossibletodisplaytextwhenanactionruleistriggered,seeUsingOverlayTextinanActionRule.
Toenableoverlays:
1.GotoVideo&Audio>VideoStreamandselecttheImagetab.
2.Toincludeanoverlayimage,selectIncludeoverlayimageatthecoordinates.Theoverlayimagemustrstbeuploadedto
theAxisproduct,seeOverlayImage.
