Sinceitisstatic,thepositionandsizeofanoverlayimagewillremainthesameregardlessofresolutionandPan/Tilt/Zoom
movements.Tosetupadynamicmask,whichwillalwaysmaskthespeciedpartofmonitoredarea,seePrivacyMask,onpage19
Touseanoverlayimage,theimagemustrstbeuploadedtotheAxisproduct:
1.GotoVideo&Audio>OverlayImage.
2.ClickBrowseandbrowsetothele.
3.ClickUpload.
4.SelecttheimagetousefromtheUseoverlayimagelist.
5.ClickSave.
Todisplaytheoverlayimage:
1.GotoVideo&Audio>VideoStreamandselecttheImagetab.
2.UnderOverlaySettings,selectIncludeoverlayimageatthecoordinatesandentertheXandYcoordinates.
3.ClickSave.

UsingOverlayTextinanActionRule
Actionrules,seepage29,candisplayanoverlaytextwhentheruleistriggered.Thetextcanbeusedtoprovideinformationfor
forensicvideoanalysis,notifysurveillanceoperatorsorvalidatetriggersandactionsduringproductinstallationandconguration.
Todisplayoverlaytextwhenanactionruleistriggered,themodier#Dshouldbeusedasdescribedbelow.Whentheruleis
triggered,#Dwillbereplacedbythetextspeciedintheactionrule.
Startbyenablingoverlaytextinthevideostream:
1.GotoVideo&Audio>VideoStreamandselecttheImagetab.
2.UnderOverlaySettings,selectIncludetext.
3.Enterthemodier#Dand,optionally,additionaltextwhichwillbedisplayedalsowhentheactionruleisnotactive.
