AXIS Q7414 - Product Description
Product Description
This manual applies to AXIS Q7414 Video Encoder Blade.
Key features
Full frame rate in H.264 and Motion JPEG in all resolutions
AXIS Q7414 can deliver 30/25 fps in all resolutions up to D1 (720x480 in NTSC, 720x576 in
PAL) in at least three differently configured streams per channel.
Reduced bandwidth and storage using H.264 compression
H.264 compression provides streams that use less bandwidth and storage compared with
streams of the same image quality in MPEG-4 Part 2.
Multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams
AXIS Q7414 Video Encoder Blade can deliver multiple, individually configurable streams in full
frame rate at the highest resolution in H.264 and/or Motion JPEG from each channel; e.g. one
H.264 stream with the highest image quality for live viewing, one stream with higher
compression that is optimized for storage, and another stream more suited for mobile viewers.
Four individual channels with full two-way audio support on each channel
Four individual channels with audio support on each channel provide a compact and
cost-effective solution for large installations that require two-way audio.
Balanced microphone and line input support
The built-in phantom power source and adjustable input gain simplify the installation of
balanced microphones.
Intelligent video capabilities
ONVIF open API for easy software integration ensures interoperability between IP-based
physical security products regardless of brand.
Advanced security and network management
AXIS Q7414 offers the highest degree of security, including multiple user access levels, IP
address filtering, HTTPS encrypted video streams that do not affect performance, and IEEE
802.1X to control network access. Network management features include Quality of Service for
reservation of network capacity and support for IP protocol version 6 in addition to the
standard IPv4. IPv6 is a requirement in many large installations.
