AXIS Q19 Series - PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom)
Guard Tour
A guard tour displays the video stream from different preset positions, one-by-one, in a pre-determined order or randomly,
and for configurable time periods. The guard tour will keep running after the user has logged off or closed the browser. Once a
preset position has been set and added to the guard tour, the following settings can be made:
Pause between runs
Move Speed - sets the speed of the Pan/Tilt movements to the preset position
View Time in seconds or minutes
View Order (or Random)

ard Tour web page. For more information, see the online help .

Device
Available settings depend on the connected PT unit and uploaded driver, please refer to the online help files and to the
documentation provided with the PT unit and driver.
Controls
Panel Shortcut Command Buttons - Here are the controls for creating and saving shortcut command
buttons. These buttons can provide direct access to various built-in auxiliary commands provided by the
PT driver. The buttons are displayed in the Control Panel, which is available on the Live View page by
clicking the Ctrl panel button.
Enable/Disable controls - Enable or disable the PTZ by checking/unchecking t
hese boxes. When disabled, the Pan and Tilt
sliders will not be available on the Live View page or any other page with the video stream included.
Driver Selection
A PTZ driver is required to run a connected Pan Tilt Zoom device, see Installing a Pan/Tilt device, on page 28.
To delete a driver that has been upload
ed, select it from the Uploaded drivers drop-down list and click Remove.
Device ID - This is the address of the connected device. To find the Devic
e ID consult the video source's documentation.
Device Type - Choose the Device type from
the drop-down list. To find which Device type to use, consult the documentation
supplied by the PTZ driver.
Control Queue
The PTZ Control Queue is a system for placing PTZ control requests in a queue. The control queue fields on the Live View page
show the user's current status and position in the queue and the amount of time remaining until PTZ control is given, or if the
user already has control - the amount of control time remaining.
